Power Peak I4 EQ-BID Robbe
P/n: 1-8507
Description: Intelligent, high performance fourth generation - charge -discharge station with convenient battery management for NiCad, NiMH, lead-acid, LiFe, LiIo, LiPo batteries with integrated Equalizer and CAP Touch operating system.
The elegant and clear design of the device is made possible by the new Cap-Touch-System. Contactless sensors for the switch and 3D hotkey allow a smooth and sealed surface without any controls protruding. The maximum cell count is 30 cells NiCad/NiMH and 12 cells LiPo, with a maximum charge current of 10 A (max 210 W). Besides the charge, discharge and cycle modes for the different battery types, there are different charge methods available. For example, the choice of Normal -, Linear - and Reflex charge processes can be made for NiCad/NiMH batteries. The most important parameters of the current charge process will be displayed as numbers on the large backlit display.
The user has an overview and can monitor and control the complete process. The navigation through the adjustment menus takes place easily and efficiently when using the 3D Hotkey, the menu layouts can be switched between german, english, french, italian or spanish languages. An important feature of the I4 is the trend-setting battery Identification System (BID) The many different battery types will continue to increase, whereby each pack type will require its own individual charge process. The revolutionary BID system offers a clever solution to this problem and makes the operation extremely secure and easy.
For lithium batteries, the CC-CV charge and cut-off method is available for use. Moreover, by means of the the ingrated 12S Equalizer, all the single cell volatges of the pack will be displayed... either numerically or graphically on the display of the Power Peak I4. For safety, the the temperatures of a pack can be monitored and displayed during a process. Also, the cut off at a specific temperature can be preset and adjusted. the required sensor is included. by means of an integrated USB interface, the Data can be graphically or numerically displayed on a PC, stored, compared and printed. The necessary software is freely available to download as Donationware. The charger has two independent charge outputs, for surface as well as flight batteries (OUT 1) and Tx/Rx packs (OUT 2). Operating voltage: 11V...15V DC, (12V lead acid battery or a powerful mains supply unit, never use as a charger for car batteries!)
